How to get a guy to like you?

I know your probably thinking, its how he feel about ppl. it depends on the guy. but i really like this guy. and he is popular likke super popular and well i think he is giving me singles and flirting with me :] but i dnt think he would ever ask me out. i am pretty ugly and i dnt ware make up 2 often (and i have tons) im gunna start waring some. but im kinda rude and i have lke no mannors wat so ever. i think hee owuldd likee tht...anyy ide on whatt to doo?
