Riding Mower suddenly DEAD?

It sounds like one of the safety switches are tripped. Check all pre-starting checks such as blade disengaged, trans in neutral, clutch depressed, and last but not least make sure your sitting on the seat there's usually one under there too. If your battery is good and all the terminals are clean check the inline fuse.
