How fortunate are we here in the United States Of America not to have a military dictatorship.................
like in Yangon Myanmar? After being ravaged by a cyclone that left many dead and homeless, their government (The Junta or military dictatorship) refuses to allow foreign aid workers into Yangon Myanmar to ist those who deseparately need help. These people need food, water, clothing, shelter, medical attention, proper sewage disposal, and proper care of the dead amongst other things. I remember seeing a "Please dontate to the cyclone victims in Myanmar" on the Yahoo home page. I don't see that anymore because the supplies that were suppose to be shipped to those in need aren't getting there. Myanmar's dictatorship is preventing this from happening according to the article that I read this morning. The stats show that maybe 1 in 10 people are actually getting istance. The Junta are taking the supplies, putting their names on the supplies, and distributing the supplies as "gifts" from the Junta. It's part of their propaganda campaign. That's horrible!
